You Don’t Fix the Flower, You Fix the Environment

Today, as I was driving back from a doctor’s appointment, I noticed a bright green Jeep with a sticker of a simple quote that stopped me in my tracks:

“When a flower doesn’t bloom, you don’t fix the flower, you fix the environment in which it grows.”

It really got me thinking.

So many of us walk through seasons where we feel stuck, unseen, unmotivated, or disconnected.
We start asking ourselves:
What’s wrong with me? Why can’t I grow? Why can’t I bloom like everyone else?

But here’s what I want you to know,
You are not broken.

Sometimes, it’s not you that needs fixing.
It’s the environment around you.

The Power of Your Environment

Over the past 10–15 years, I’ve spoken and coached women through every area of life —
Physically. Mentally. Spiritually. Emotionally. Financially.

And here’s what I’ve learned:
Growth doesn’t happen in chaos; it happens in alignment.

If your spirit is surrounded by negativity,
If your schedule is filled with things that drain you,
If your finances are ruled by fear,
If your relationships steal your peace,
…it’s no wonder your bloom feels delayed.

Even the strongest seed struggles in toxic soil.

So, What Needs to Be Fixed?

Ask yourself these questions:

🌱 What atmosphere am I growing in right now?
🌱 Who am I allowing to speak into my spirit?
🌱 What am I feeding my mind — faith or fear?
🌱 Where do I need to prune so new growth can begin?

You were created to bloom, boldly, beautifully, fully.
But even the most resilient flower can’t flourish in the wrong garden.

You’re Not Alone

Maybe you’re in a season of uprooting.
Maybe you’re replanting.
Maybe you’re still under the dirt, waiting for your moment to shine.

No matter where you are, you are not alone.
God sees you.
He knows your soil.
And He’s preparing the perfect environment for your next bloom. 🌱
