From Diaper Bag to Destiny: What My Computer Bag Taught Me About Growth, Priorities, and God

Ladies… tell me I’m not the only one.

There’s NOTHING like the feeling of having your purse, work bag, or backpack completely organized.

When that bag is messy? Life feels messy.
But when it’s clean and everything has a place?
Whew… clarity, peace, power.

Recently, I bought a new computer bag, after using the same one for over 15 years.

And guess what?

It wasn’t even a laptop bag.

It was…

A black Coach diaper bag.

Yep. A diaper bag has been my business bag for 15+ years, and I loved it.

There’s a Lesson in That

Just because something (or someone) was created for one purpose…
Doesn’t mean it can’t evolve.

That diaper bag became my business bag.
That business bag carried my dreams.
And now, I’m stepping into a new season, with my gorgeous berry vegan leather Poppy & Peonies work bag.

What worked in one season doesn’t have to go with you into the next.

You can upgrade.
You can grow.
You can reinvent.
You can go from “this was good” to “God has MORE.”

Let’s Talk About Priority

We all have the same 24 hours in a day.
But Jesus said in Luke 9:23:

“Take up your cross DAILY.”

Daily.
Not “when I feel like it.”
Not “when life slows down.”

Daily = deliberate.

So how do we do that?

Here’s the blueprint 👇

✅ 1. Ask God for wisdom.

“Lord, what are MY priorities for today?”

✅ 2. Write it down or calendar it.

Make the list. Block the time.

(Be honest, have you ever written something down after you did it just so you could check it off? Same, girl. Same.)

✅ 3. Dedicate your list to God.

“Lord, this is YOUR day. Custom fit it for me. Guide my steps.”

✅ 4. Prepare and EXPECT a miracle.

Yes—expect it. God honors order, stewardship, and faith.

Here’s the Reality

Most people spend more time:
Looking for their keys
Trying to remember what time the meeting is

…than they do reading their Bible.

No wonder society feels overwhelmed and confused.

Confusion isn’t a scheduling problem, it’s a spiritual one.

If You Get Nothing Else from This Message, Get This

When you are lacking vision…
Seek God.

He’s always there.
He will turn confusion into clarity.
He will guide your steps.
He will prosper your life, your business, and your finances.

Organization is great.
Priorities are important.
But God is the true source of clarity.
